Antimicrobial Effect of Electrospun Nanofibers Loaded with Silver Nanoparticles: Influence of Ag Incorporation Method

چکیده
The antimicrobial bioactivity of silver nanoparticles is well known, and they can be used widely in many applications, becoming especially important the biomedical industry. On other hand, electrospun nanofibers possess properties that enhance nanoparticle applicability. However, differs depending on loading ions into nanofibers. This review aimed at comparing different incorporation methods their activity, discussing each procedure’s limitations, presenting most promising one. showed preferred techniques for incorporating were direct blending ultraviolet irradiation due to simplicity efficient results. Besides, polyacrylonitrile (PAN) have been reported system loaded with nanoparticles. Finally, independently technique used, nanoparticle-loaded show high activity all cases.
